Shenandoah Valley Trees
PO Box 595
Winchester, VA 22604
Please note that we are unable to accept monetary donations from residents of New York, New Jersey, Pennsylvania, and Florida. Each of these jurisdictions has adopted regulations which would be inordinately expensive for us to remain in compliance. We will re-evaluate this decision as time progresses to see if a change in policy would benefit the organization.
Can I make an online donation through your website?
We will be accepting online domains in the future but cannot do so at this time until state charitable solicitation filings have been accepted and approved by the relevant jurisdictions.
Are donations to Shenandoah Valley Trees tax deductible?
All donations to Shenandoah Valley Trees are fully tax deductible to the extend permitted by law.
Are you a membership-based organization?
Not at this time. Our sole focus during these formative years is to create a solid foundation for the organization, and to get as many trees in the ground as possible. We will revisit membership at a later time.
What types of trees do you provide for planting?
We provide and plant only trees that are native to the region in which they are being planted.
Where do you get your trees from?
A majority of our plants are sourced from the Virginia State Tree Farm, which is supported by the Virginia Department of Forestry. A small portion of our trees are grown from seed and raised on-premise at our physical location in Winchester, Virginia.
